    Our decision announced. Now that we have authorised charges, these cases are live and further comment by anyone, me included, is inappropriate.

    I am pleased to see the further roll-out of these special measures which allow vulnerable victims & witnesses to give pre-trial recorded evidence

    From today, all Crown Courts in England & Wales now have the technology for vulnerable victims and witnesses to pre-record their cross-examination. The widespread roll-out began last year with our commitment to deliver by the end of 2020. Read more 👉
