Oh we can't do that?
Because a massive national investment into renewable energy something something wouldn't work?
Oh ok then
Well let's just keep destroying the planet so the like 6 fossil fuel billionaires can keep making money
That is the sensible solution after all

Max. That is too logical.

Almost like the whole argument is nonsense and simply a derailment tactic used to conceal political corruption. Weird ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Better to have a phase in/phase out approach for reducing reliance on coal to migrate to renewals or other sources. If companies can't plan ahead with a 5-10 year plan to move to renewables you have to wonder how adaptable they really are...

Ill trump that. Why don’t we SHUT DOWN the
#coal industry & GIVE every one of the 36,000 odd coal workers an equal share (tax free) of the $29 billion we currently give in subsidies. The workers can do what they want with their $761,000 EACH.#ClimateEmergency - Još 1 odgovor

The same argument is happening in the US with fracking..some progressive Democrats are supporting it because of jobs ..its a world wide problem, completely short sighted and stupid ..
