    If Democrats in the House vote against drug prices, they shouldn't expect help from the DCCC. It's a super popular, common sense idea that Dems have run on for years. If you hold up passing it, you shouldn't receive any support from the party.

    This is a appreciation post. She has achieved so much and is just getting started. Nothing makes me more hopeful than the generation of up and coming organizers and operatives winning elections and building power. The future is bright because of them.

    Earlier this year, 10 house Democrats wrote a letter against medicare drug price negotiations -- even though 8 out 10 voted for HR 3 in 2019. It's just madness.

    An important thing to note is that HR3 (drug price reform) was the compromise. This was fought over during all of 2019, a huge fight. Final version got buy-in from the whole caucus. Everyone ran on it. The 3 pharma lovers who blocked it today *voted for it*.

    Pelosi nominated Rice to keep AOC off of the energy and commerce committee. Jeffries is working with Gottheimer to defeat Justice Dems. Leadership sides with corporate Dems — even though they’re the ones holding up Biden’s agenda.

    A reminder: beat out for a spot on . Rice’s no vote on prescription drug negotiation policy sunk the provision for now.

    1 in 500 Americans have died from COVID-19. Deaths are surging across the country. 2,652 people died yesterday. But pandemic relief — from unemployment benefits, to direct payments, to the eviction moratorium — have gone away. The pandemic is not over. Bring back the relief.
