The campaign wrote the D.C. Board of Elections recently to raise concerns around collecting signatures by hand during a time when people are being asked to remain distant from others. The timing here matters. The campaign has until early July to collect 25k valid signatures from D.C. voters if they want to get the measure on the November ballot. They've asked for emergency legislation to allow for some type of digital signature from voters; Denver has that.
