I'm not deleting nothing, acting like it didn't happen, etc. It just didn't work out and that's ok.

I used to feel like there had to be ”a reason” a relationship didn't last. It really could be as simple as, this isn't what I want to do.

That’s such a great question. I think that it’s a combination of people taking your relationships personal as well as making them public. It’s all a narrative sometimes instead of tapping into the real that humans change their minds and relationships end.

This. Most ppl don’t ask for the weight of folks’
#goals on their relationship. When my last relationship broke up I felt like people wanted me to console THEM because they thought we “were perfect together”. Girl get out of my face- this is my life, not RHOA. - Show replies

I think usually it’s if family or friends have warned someone that their partner wasn’t right for them/there were red flags to which they were willfully blind until the end of the r’ship. Like “I don’t want to prove them right”

That happened to me, but it was more shame than embarrassment that I stayed longer than I should have. Which inevitably fades with time as your self-love grows stronger
