I used Chrome for years and I have always been very critic of Edge internally at Microsoft. Never felt it could do what I needed from a browser. Guess what, been using the new Edge for the past month and... I'm totally fine with it! New Microsoft, new Edge, new Mat ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Did you know that Edge on iOS has NewsGuard? It can show you a rating on the address bar that helps assessing how trustworthy the website is. How cool is that

Of course, Apple doesn't let you change your default web browser on iOS, (not cool, Apple, not cool...) but you can still use it

Manual assessment or automatic? If manual, who does the assessment? Not being picky, I just know that Facebook use a company to do theirs and that company is known for its political lean.

What does it say when you visit https://twitter.com ? If it doesn’t rate it as a totally unreliable dumpster fire, the feature isn’t baked yet.

Cool. It should be On by default though, as with all protective feats. I’ve tested it and @TMZ and @NatEnquirer got red mark as expected but @foxnews didn’t... weird.

Ugh unnecessary Foxnews hate. You even watch that channel? Thought they had the highest ratings... I’ll have to check on that

On Android as well! (Except there you can set it as default browser ;-) ) It has been working really well so far, especially considering it is experimental. Very impressed.
