Jim Jarmusch's AVENGERS WEEKEND would be one of the greatest film of all time, especially the two-minute lateral tracking shot of Tony Stark dancing soundlessly around his palatial mansion while listening to music through earbuds.

Age of Ultron is on the weaker side of the MCU films, but the scenes with the party and at Hawkeyes house were great for those little moments.
-
Was about to reply with basically the same statement. So I agree with you fully. Probably the best parts in any MCU film.

I'm not sure if it's still active but there was a beautiful web comic called Steve Rogers' American Captain that was all about him adjusting to the modern world and going to therapy.

Not active any more. But this is what I thought of. It was terrific. My fave moment was when Steve fears he'll never get an Army promotion because he is *Captain* America. Also great was that it was his comic diary.https://kottke.org/17/10/the-sad-humanity-of-american-captain-the-best-anti-superhero-comic-about-superheroes …

this is essentially what most MCU fanfic was post-Avengers. everyone was more invested in the shawarma friendship scene than the conflicts that emerged in later films.
-
Which is why everyone got so excited about the party scene from Age of Ultron when it was screened at Comic-Con, and then it turned out that the rest of the movie was Not That.

Just like LOGAN, minus the existential dread, bone-chilling violence, and its stark, inhumane world.
