Americans seem to hate each other because we don't have anything at all in common with one another. There is no single uniting value or principle in our culture. Nothing holding us together. No defining characteristic. As I've said in the past: we are the United States no longer

Because there is no compromise and people like you who sit behind a computer make money on divisiveness. If Americans shared common views, you would be out of a job; thus you and many others on both sides perpetuate hate of the other
