The “intermediate plateau” has been the most fun part of the process lol. It’s not really a playeau just a slow rise. It’s great cause while there is a ton to learn and I learn a lot everyday, I know enough to enjoy everything I care to enjoy.

I understand their issue though, I think whilst the obvious advice is just keep going there is good advice for the psychological resistance that comes during intermediate, where you can kind of understand everything but there’s always something you don’t understand

For me immersing with more heavy content was the fix, I think it’s about not feeling gains, or feeling like the process is endless and getting disillusioned, I think most people go through that intermediate resistance

This is the difference between goal based learning and system based learning! When I taught myself English I never thought about how to get better because all of my daily habits were working in favor of me acquiring English non consciously!
