    This is beyond sad. A coach that exemplified integrity and hard work in every aspect. A great coach and an even better person.

    It saddens me to share the passing of longtime assistant coach Tom Bodle. Coach passed this morning after a battle with Covid. Please keep Tom and his family in your prayers.

    When I covered Xavier's final basketball game in March, I didn't know it would be my last. I'm among the 46 people laid off at The Athletic. I've covered XU since 2008-09, including the last 2 years at The Athletic, & will miss you all! Thanks for reading. It has been an honor.
