Would be really great to get some polling on DC Statehood. ;)

The district-level polling from
@DataProgress has been a great tool! It's clear that, even when faced with Republican opposition, statehood is hugely popular and obvious legislation for a Dem Congress to prioritize. http://bit.ly/2M7IRpa - 1 more reply

Can we do
#PuertoRico next? They really need this one. -
That would be most fitting. I remember going to DC statehood parades when I was really young; I can’t believe this may happen in my lifetime.

Wyoming has less than half as many people as Dallas, TX. DC has more than Wyoming and almost as many as Alaska. Statehood is not only fair so all with a stake get a say, but would also shift the balance of power from overrepresented farm states toward underrepresented cities.

Someone please explain what happens to the 3 electoral college votes when the federal district is reduced to the White House? Or can we also eliminate Electoral College?

Both one state & (in vogue) partition plan immediately creates a new US state out of the bulk of DC by 3rd BRAC of tyranny (~1846&1946) & US IV-3
#DCstatehood (38thTime). One state plan removes place linked to I-8-17 tyranny power, while partition plan keeps a tyranny zone. - 4 more replies
