#BREAKING Five LAPD officers have been taken to the hospital after being exposed to meth. abc7.com/meth-lapd-offi

Great podcast. Suddenly realizing that the efforts to block development & preserve water quality expanded to block so much housing that many people have been pushed to the woods over the aquifer/near Barton Creek. It can be a hard listen, knowing the future housing crisis today

ICYMI: The fourth episode of @KUT's Growth Machine is out this week. It's the second part of our story about an environmental movement in the 1990s that divided a city. This week: the compromise & how it impacted Austin's growth. open.spotify.com/episode/7sDyGx
Loving this series! Quote of the episode: “East side environmentalists were fighting cancer-causing pollution in their neighborhood. West side activists were fighting for a swimming pool.”
