Going to try to start a thread of local food places in #Houston we get takeout or delivery from that you should patronize if you’re safely able to during this time.

Shout out tonight to . You can order pickup in the Museum District next to Barnabys, and I believe there is a location in the Heights also. Korean fried chicken and more and it’s delicious.

We didn’t have an opportunity to visit today, but we bought a handful of pints from the Midtown Whole Foods. It’s the Best Gelato™️. Locations in Montrose and Garden Oaks on Ella.

I’ll add to this as we are able to patronize some spots. Y’all should make your own lists too. Local businesses and many others need us if we can help.

Tonight, a shout out to Paulie’s off Westheimer in Montrose, arguably my favorite Italian spot in Houston. Fantastic pasta dishes and (to me) addictive Caesar salad.

We got takeout on Wednesday from Vietnam on 19th in the Heights. Great food. Not a big dinner crowd as usual. The waiter was concerned that people were already staying home.

Don’t know if they’re on twitter or not, but Midtown Bar And Grill on West Gray has been pretty solid for us as takeout, and they did their best to remain open during all previous events. (They were open during Harvey, frex.)

Picked up food on 20th. There were actually parking spots this time (😕) but a steady stream of people coming in. We all held the door for each other with our feet.
