This was the only time I've listened to your podcast. I was skeptical, but interested to see if a strong case could be made. What I heard was a lot of "shop talk" and a lot of vague claims that the media wasn't tough enough and references to the names of scandals.

Margolis referred to the Blagojevich trial as a scandal because Blagojevich testified under oath that Obama knew what he was doing. A convicted criminal testified the crime was someone else's fault, and that's now a scandal? That was the closest the podcast got to substance.
-
Rather than relitigate the Obamacare years (buy the book!), I wanted to focus on adjacent questions: Is it a scandal if the media doesn’t think so? Do *only* sex scandals resonate today? Did Obama’s “nothing to see here” strategy work to downplay the seriousness of his scandals?
-
Financial and abuse of power scandsls are obviously very resonant. Not only sex scandals.
-
Sartorial sandals, returned busts, and demonstrative pronoun antecedent scandals, not so much.

Let it go Matt. Not everything has to involve President
@BarackObama . IF there were any scandals, I am sure they do not compare to Trump's scandals. Trump has made a mockery of the WH and everything America stands for.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
