The Cohen part was definitely new information. But I also don't think we knew the extent of the relationship (people describing him as Trump's "Chief of Staff" and that he might as well have a desk in the Oval Office). Plus, when did this advisory role begin? In the GOP primary?

It doesn't shock me at all. Sean is a NYer as well. I think Trump would be wise to listen to
@seanhannity. He has a real ear to the tune of the American people. Although I hardly think that makes him an "advisor". That connotes a paid position.

I felt that McCain also had a very cosy relationship with the media, as did Paul Ryan. Those two GOP famechasers never got the tough scrutiny they deserved.
