I would be surprised if they didn't. However, it is probably negligible for one simple but highly informative reason: In '12 the candidate they supported was not welcoming of their aid. Russian interference worked so well in '16 b/c it was bolstered by the GOP candidate, Trump.

I edited a programme that suggested that Putin thought the Panama papers leak which damaged him and his supporters was a CIA stunt. It was that which sparked attempts to hack US politics.
