Everything Marco Rubio said about gun control is correct. That’s why we need a multi-pronged approach. http://thebea.st/2ocWLYd?source=twitter&via=mobile … via @thedailybeast

Good article. It seems clear the answers involve: Better gun regulation (lots of legal things are regulated); Access to mental health and stricter monitoring of troubled people; Adequate armed security at every school - yes, we can afford it; fix the law enforcement issues

One thing that’s left out: the cost of mental health treatment. Even if a parent is able to force their child to get treatment, it’s really expensive. For me, a therapy session (usually an hour long) is a $40 copay.

Me too! My psychiatrist just switched to cash only. & you know the reason behind it? The insurance companies are starting to audit their patient records. It’s becoming “too much work” for the drs.

Security for protection looks a lot like security for confinement & our schools should not resemble prisons. We need more funding in education so teachers have smaller classes, adults can connect w/students & more social service resources are availble in school so kids don't 1/

Please challenge Rubio on his claims: Hunters need high-capacity mags. Deaths wouldn't be prevented even if shooter didn't have magazines & needed time to reload. Stop using “need” ... the great divide is between “I need” and “I want” and it’s on both sides of the discussion ... but what we all need is to do something.
