For years, I thought celebrities should not voice their political opinions. More recently, I ask why the price of success and fame must silence them. As a group, they have often led the way for civil rights. Let them speak.

Yes. It depends on who they are, what the topic is, and if they are informed. For example, I don’t usually turn to the Duck Dynasty guys for my political commentary.

The "elitism" of Ingraham is intellectually dishonest.Perhaps Laura doesn't know the history of Abraham Lincoln. He had little formal education and was largely self educated. In Ingrahams world view Lincoln should have kept chopping wood and not chosen politics.
