1. I’m pretty shocked Republicans were able to get rid of the individual mandate—& that they were able to do it so quietly. This is a big deal. Why wasn’t there more pushback from Democrats and moderate Republicans? I’m not criticizing it, just saying I’m surprised.

2. I’m also somewhat surprised tax reform didn’t garner more attrition from gop Senators. Trump personally offended numerous Sens (McCain, Corker, et al.) & there were legitimate concerns about the budget deficit. Plus, Johnson & Rubio cut deals that didn’t open a Pandora’s box.
