Is this AP tweet true? The problem is the biased framing. It reminds me of this (true) description of The Wizard of Oz: "Transported to a surreal landscape, a young girl kills the first person she meets and then teams up with three strangers to kill again”https://twitter.com/AP/status/943201764878225408 …

Your analogy might be valid if the tweet read that Republicans passed a tax bill they promise will raise wages by $4,000 per person. Instead, it straightforwardly makes the main beneficiaries of the bill. That it’s bad politics for you doesn’t make it less honest or accurate.

If a person paid no income taxes before this bill (which includes 45% of Americans or 77.5 million households) how can he get a cut to pay less than zero now? https://www.marketwatch.com/story/45-of-americans-pay-no-federal-income-tax-2016-02-24 …pic.twitter.com/BptBcdqlJ0

How would you frame it? 80% receive tax cut? That might be true but is it the whole story? Of the 80%, who will receive the bulk of the tax relief? I think it will be those receiving the steep cuts referred to in the headline.
