Obama went to Congress, that's not doing nothing. Congress refused to approve an act of war. Did Trump go to Congress?

We are not at war
-
What do you call it when you fire 60 cruise missiles at another nation? An act of kindness?
-
A strategic strike that had limited objectives. Mainly to show Assad that he can no longer slaughter his people with impunity
-
It was an illegal strike ... also consider that it was a set up by Putin to give Trump cover for his falling poll numbers
-
hahahahahaha what a reach
-
Not a reach at all. The Syrians were ready for the strike. US troops were moved into advanced positions early. Open your eyes
-
Quitcherbitchin. It's unbecoming.

"Didn't do anything" militarily. The real issue for both presidents in the vipers' nest of Syria is not the first step--but what comes next.

I would be more on board if we can confirm Assad did this. I think isis was supplied with the chems by Iran or Turkey to trigger war.
-
ISIS is helped by Turkey whereas Iran is busy fighting ISIS
-
Important distinction, but I fear bad Intel Trump received, maybe purposely, and he foolishly fell for it and so quickly, very troubling.
-
US President knows everything just like George Bush did, its all a tv stunt
-
I don't believe for a minute that Assad did this to some little nowhere village of townspeople, so not sure motive here, maybe you R right

-
I'm trying to recall. I recall 7 months of airstrikes in Libya without bothering to ask for Congressional approval. Did the rules change?
