@mattklewis I thought PSH was wasted as Art Howe in "Moneyball." -
@RalstonReports my favorite PSH role was in Charlie Wilson's War. Having said that, he oozed Buck Showalter. I see him and think PSH. -
@mattklewis I see that. He was tremendous in almost everything, including CWW. Superb in his last movie, too. Makes it more heartbreaking. -
@RalstonReports He was wasted as Art Howe primarily because Howe was cast as the quasi-villain in that script.@mattklewis -
@EsotericCD@mattklewis Part of it. But also because the role was too one-dimensional and small. Lesser actor called for. -
@RalstonReports Right, and in a way I see our two criticisms as being essentially similar: one-dimensional "opponent."@mattklewis -
@RalstonReports Meanwhile, Showalter is brilliant, admirable, but also sort of an asshole, frankly. Tailor-made for PSH.@mattklewis -
@RalstonReports@mattklewis BTW, I hope y'all (esp Jon, given PST) are geared up for baseball match of the night:https://twitter.com/EsotericCD/status/505500346542997505 … - 4 more replies
