If your electoral hopes depend on fewer people voting you are doing something wrong.
@morningmoneyben 100% agree. (By the same time, efforts to increase ballot integrity are entirely legitimate and worthy projects.)

@mattklewis enormously dubious of all such efforts -
@morningmoneyben Now that my motives have been impugned, why do you suppose these Dems *don't* want ballot integrity? Purely noble reasons? -
@mattklewis no intent to impugn motives. all I said was I'm inclined to question "vote integrity" efforts given historic precedents -
@morningmoneyben@ArrogantDemon@mattklewis Study after study has not found voter fraud.

@Maggyw519@morningmoneyben this should be colorblind & universal. (Do banks "target" urban folks when they require ID to cash a check?) -
@mattklewis That's a false equivalency. Plus, kind of ID required disproportionately impacts the poor, elderly.@Maggyw519@morningmoneyben -
@PSmirn@Maggyw519@morningmoneyben how do they cash a check? -
@mattklewis Matt, ur making assumption that ppl w/out means live life the same way as ppl w/means.@Maggyw519@morningmoneyben -
@PSmirn@Maggyw519@morningmoneyben no I'm not. I don't Cash checks. I have them automatically deposited -- or I do it on my iPhone.
