I see the word "mob" being thrown a lot by the administration. I think it's dangerous and being used to get people on the right riled up. We definitely don't need further division in this country. I almost always agree with what you say, but "mob" is scary language. :(

Do you know what’s actually scary? A mob!
-
I get what you're saying, but I don't think inflammatory language is going to fix the problem. Why inflame an already tense situation?
-
What term would you prefer? Passionate protester? Freedom fighter?? Refusing to call a mob a mob is Orwellian. Also, refusing to confront reality does not make things calm down or go away.
-
Okay, I don't want to argue. There's already enough of that going on out there. Agree to disagree?

Matt Lewis is afraid of screaming girls wearing pussy hats and thinks politicians shouldn’t be held accountable but he approves of workplace harrassment and lies that ruin someone’s life. But he isn’t man enough to speak out against this!https://twitter.com/kathygriffin/status/1049458659430883328?s=21 …

Sorry, I don’t like the term mob for what happened to Cruz or over the weekend either, I think the term denotes people intending physical harm. I do agree that restaurants with family should be off limits. The one at the Supreme Court was loud and disruptive but wasn’t a mob.
-
Sorry, words mean things, and that’s not the definition of the word. Look it up.
-
Ok, then the question becomes what definition are you using? 1 or 2? I don’t think they were a mob in the sense of trying to cause riotous or distructive action, but could agree with the informal definition.pic.twitter.com/6RDm1cUGzs

I don't think this makes the point you think it's making. How is harassing people eating peacefully in public not destructive? Is it constructive? Civil disobedience? Just some harmless laughs? PS: I can't stand Ted Cruz, or Trump for that matter. But, c'mon. This isn't hard.

They didn’t destroy anything, they disrupted his evening. And I did say that I thought that should be off limits, that’s his private life with his family. If he was at work then they could speak with him or protest but I don’t think they should there. I don’t think that’s a mob
-
That this even needs explained says a lot about how so many have lost all sense of perspective.

Her refusal to even acknowledge bad behavior on a particular side is partisanship. It blinds people. It’s just as bad as the people who excuse Trump’s many bad behaviors. Not being beholden to a ‘side’ has been equally enlightening and frustrating.

Both what happened to Cruz and what happened on the Hill are very clearly mobs. Protestors tried to overrun police and storm a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing. Not sure how you call that anything but a mob.
