Like her, or not, Sarah Huckabee has gotten to be pretty effective at her job.

How do you figure? She rarely briefs the press and consistently criticizes them.

Effective at what the president wants. And Lewis is right. It is much easier to dance around questions when you do it so infrequently. But then again, what the president wants.

True. I’m viewing it from the perspective of being good at spin and message discipline—and with the modern assumption that her “job” is to advocate on behalf of the president’s agenda. She’s gotten very good at this role. Much better than Spicer.

Thanks for the explanation. From my perspective repeating hostile TPs/ mantras is easier than crafting thoughtful answers to tough questions. She has a lot of time to practice in between briefings bc they are so infrequent. Look forward to discussing live sometime with you.

Hope you watched Matt mock survivors of sexual assault. Because that's what he did during his CNN performance today. Absolutely shameful.

If lying to the American people on a nuclear sized scale now counts as “pretty effective”, then yes, she has.

Her job is to inform the American people. During the few briefings she actually holds, all she does is deflect and lob insults. That's literally the opposite of her job, and therefore, the opposite of effective.

If her job is to help make a mockery of the WH/Press Sec/US Fed Govt,....yes, she does that well. So does her boss. Is that something to compliment? I remember Tony Snow and Dana Perino. They didn't make me feel spat upon and ashamed of my country. "Effective" for you & SHS=bad.
