What a weak-and-wobbly bar - that must be. I mean, our institutions are gonna take a huge hit! This is why many founders were opposed to political parties. He barely answering questions. Lots of performance acting. No FBI. No lie detector. He get voted in? Shameful. What a bar!

I was open minded going into today. I really wanted to hear from Dr Ford. I believe something terrible happened to her but after today I’m not convinced Kavanaugh did it. He was very convincing.

The mistaken identity is a seed that was planted (later removed on twitter), pointing to an innocent person. They are going to run with this but if there is anything most victims remember, it's not where, when or how, but who.

Your article has an error. I think we call them untruths now? Kavanaugh never said he wanted an investigation. He said he wanted a hearing. There is a big difference. If this had been an investigation, wouldn't we have seen this prolific writer friend of his from HS questioned?
-
You should be more specific as honesty. He was happy with the limited Senate investigation, controlled by the Republicans, but he failed 8 times to say he would welcome an FBI investigation to clear his name. This, for many women, was it for us. Aside from his BS on his Yearbook.

It's weird, I believe both of them. And I'm thoroughly disgusted at how our country has devolved to...this. Not sure where that leaves me? Glad I'm not on the committee, I guess.
-
Both were compelling. Partisans can’t admit that. That’s what’s wrong with partisanship.

Both testimonies were believable but his anger and showing no empathy made me question his temperament. I'm not sure that someone who says what comes around goes around can be seen as an impartial judge.

How on earth does anyone vote for him as an impartial jurist after he yelled for 45 minutes about a left wing conspiracy?

Haha, it's funny you pretend a bar even exists

Actually for him to clear for Republicans you mean he just had to step over a bar.

Sorry but he made a partisan argument-even blaming the Clintons for the hearing. That is enough not to confirm him.

After listening all day, my biggest takeaway is the rage of older men. There was so much yelling, sarcasm and disrespect from the judge as well as some of the senators. Men don't like to be confronted... I wouldn't want to be alone in a room with any of them.

He played to Trump, Matt. The whole attacking the Democrats, being a victim and bringing in Clintons is really all he had to do. If he would've left that out, to the rest of the world, it would've been much better.

P.S. Good article. ^^
