This is admittedly anecdotal, but I’ve heard from several of my center-right friends today who are turned off by the Left’s attacks on Kavanaugh & Cruz. As a result, they have started solidly supporting them both.

have you seen Beto's condemnation of the mob's actions?
-
No. I've been speaking at a conference much of the day. Did he do that? If so, I applaud him. FWIW, I don't have a problem with Beto.https://www.thedailybeast.com/if-beto-orourke-beats-ted-cruz-lookout-gop-hes-the-next-obama …

Yes he did...far better person than his opponent

and right away to, first thing this morning, before anyone published asking him.

If you think children need to be in cages, try to force gay people to become straight, if you force women to another state for abortion, you don't get to eat in peace. Please. Actions, consequences. You're just not used to liberals fighting - welcome to pushing us too far.

It's a sad statement that being forced from an expensive restaurant matters more than his agenda, what and who he represents, how he would take glee in taking personal freedoms from people, deny them healthcare, weaken SNAP...but then being denied a $300 steak does matter more

I’m guessing Matt’s friends are some of the best people.

The mob doesn't represent the left. Ted Cruz does represent the right (literally). You should get smarter friends.
-
It's not "the left". It's just normal people pissed that they're being lied to, advocating their First Amendment rights.

You have admitted elsewhere they haven't changed their positions, they're just more comfortable saying them loudly because they have an excuse. Your degenerate friends coming up with a rationalization for what they were gonna do anyway isn't news. It's what trash does.

It's a typical gaslighting tactic to try to prevent anyone from pushing against their people. Notice how this tactic is pretty much never popularly used against the right. It's akin to the depressingly-common right wing "They're making me racist" line

A thesaurus isn’t a substitute for a basic understanding of politics. The right is never going to like you, are always going to support each other, and nobody who wasn’t going to vote for Ted Cruz before he was ejected from a restaurant is going to vote for him now. Grow up

Cruz cost people their livelihoods when he shut down the government just to score political points. I know a small business owner who had to cash out his retirement savings to try to keep his contractors paid & his business afloat. Cruz deserves to be shunned everywhere he goes.

"I endorse political violence"

I'm sure you do, comrade. (Bot blocking time.)
