Trump should always have nominated Amy Coney Barrett. Kavanaugh was the sort of Jeb! safe pick (emphasis on "was"...) that is un-Trump. Whoever any Republican nominates, there is no good faith on the other side. GOP stuck in zombie Reaganism. Hopefully a lesson for the future.

Kavanaugh was picked in large part because of some past rulings on immigration. There’s a reason Ann Coulter, one of only 47 people Trump follows on twitter, dm’d him to urge a Kavanaugh nomination.
-
It is incredible how Kavanaugh's lengthy service in government-with background checks-never yielded any accusation like this....until now.

Trump should've listened to you, Matt. ^^ Quite a few things in Kavanaugh's history is disturbing, and I can't see the same with Barrett. The democrats would still fight it due to what happened with Garland, but Kavanaugh gives them plenty of ammunition.

So... no thoughts whatsoever on credible allegations of assault being ignored by a major party huh

For the first time, I actually agree 100% with Matt Lewis. It should have been Amy Coney Barrett (like many of us wanted). I can see why he didn't (& there were good reasons) but he should have pushed it through.

What a small minded, unpleasant, divisive way to argue for a scotus pick. It’s juvenile: Oh boy, let’s make those kids over there angry.

I preferred Amy Coney Barrett this time around, but she will be an excellent pick next time, after Brett Kavanaugh's confirmation, when either RBG or Stephen Breyer chooses to retire. (Crazy libs won't read this comment as they are too busy looking for due process loopholes.)

She will be lauded for having 7 children...which I am sure are cared for my several nannies. I remember when the right wingers were against mothers working ...there were speeches at the GOP convention ...now it's just fine . When did the change happen?
