@yashar To be fair I also hold news consumers and social media users responsible here. It's yet another example of reading the headline but not the story. It's obvious after two paragraphs that this isn't a Pruitt/Carson like story.

But it's funny how the headline always, ALWAYS...makes conservatives look bad...And not the other way around. Convenient. Anyone recall the last time NYT had such a headline that made Dems look bad?
-
Paranoid much? There is a story here given the fact that the State Department's budget is being slashed in other, arguably more important, areas.
-
Again, show me evidence I'm wrong. I'll wait.
-
Nothing I say is going to change your perception so it's a waste of time to even try.
-
That's not true. Again, you assume there is no disingenuous on the part of the media...why should we stipulate to that at this point? People run away from this discussion because there is evidence undermining your assertion.
-
I didn't say that at all. I did say that seeing some kind of anti-conservative conspiracy at every turn makes the right seem like the boy who cried wolf.
-
All you had to do was show a headline in the opposite direction. Conspiracy theories get put down with facts, not ramblings.

This ain't fake news. It's the deliberate attempt to manipulate the American people to believe lies. This is the mainstream medias purpose and it's why they are the enemy of the people. NYT and it's employees are enemies of the American people. Never forget it

And yet face no consequences for doing so and continue holding authority to repeat the practice. All while demanding social media 'do something' about Right-wing fake news.

I did read the story and she’s living off taxpayers in a 58000 dollar a month penthouse. Oh Matt. You know that’s wrong. Government spending hypocrite republicans.58000 a month. Why does she need that. She’s not a queen. They’re cutting money to refugees healthcare Medicare.
-
You realize the past ambassadors rent was $135,000/month, right?
-
Where was your outrage when it was more than double the rent

@yashar However... when you ride with the Trump Administration, given its history of corruption and abuses of power, you also don't get the benefit of the doubt of presumption of innocence. -
What corruption and abuses of power?
-
Price - travel expenses, possible insider trading Pruitt - too many excesses/abuses to mention Flynn - do we really need to go over Flynn? Zinke - hiring high school buddy to politicize decisions - https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2018/aug/17/interior-secretarys-school-friend-crippling-climate-research-scientists-say … Ross - https://www.forbes.com/sites/danalexander/2018/08/06/new-details-about-wilbur-rosss-businesses-point-to-pattern-of-grifting/ … Seriously, need more?
