Some positive signs yes, but there are also those like Tom Cotton who are doing their best to block criminal justice reform legislation in the Senate.

We don’t currently have a justice system. We have a penal system. You are guilty when charged, unless you can prove innocence beyond any doubts. We don’t prosecute crimes. We selectively prosecute people, whether or not they commit any crime.
