A few thoughts about The Cosby Show star spotted at Trader Joe's. The obvious caveat: Work is honorable, and "outing" someone like this is scummy...

There's an episode of 'Portlandia' where they hire a cleaning lady, and it's Aimee Man. This is supposed to be satirical, but it's probably pretty close to reality.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rw7Jy1ZFBUY …

Here's what would be a HOLLYWOOD ending: An indie-auteur now hires Owens to star in an artsy movie that makes him a huge star. It turns out this worked as character development.

BTW, it's hard to praise The Cosby Show these days. But literally the only parts of that show I ever found funny involved Bill schooling Eldon on how to treat Sandra. Yes, it's sadly ironic (based on today's context). But Owens had real comedic chops. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XqfWEUC0BOQ …

I'm a Stagehand in NYC and have worked with the world's most famous celebs, to the least known. The MAJORITY of Acting careers are short lived. At some point, they abandon the life of auditions, agents, casting calls, headshots, etc and just live a normal, more stable life.
