This far-right activist even tweeted in Rep Kennedy’s name, using the activist’s own blue check mark to impersonate Kennedy in a tweet. If they’re not going to take action against people impersonating Democratic members of Congress, then why exist at all https://twitter.com/aravosis/status/1033086901463461888 …pic.twitter.com/lA1d6e6s9B
Changed their avatar. But you have the SS.
@twittersupport @Jack Why do @/HashtagGriswold and @/redford still have a verified account? They both are, on and off, pretending to be Rep. Joe Kennedy III.pic.twitter.com/CO51UYKwHp
I didn’t know you could change your name if you had a blue check, I thought that like locked in the info on the account so stuff like this couldn’t happen
Nope. You can change it.
Well that’s stupid, that negates the whole point of the check mark
That yutz is verified, and my 5 attempts go unnanswered. Of course, the whole deanship, CEO, legal analyst on a few hundered stations and cable ... and writer of books ... accounts for zip, I suppose.
Seems like the ability to change screennames should be restricted after the blue checkmark is awarded. That's an awful oversight on Twitter's part.
Are you really Matt Lewis? Cause I've seen the X-Files and you could be a doppelganger or an alien clone or something
I think you're right... MIGUEL SANCHEZ.

He is who we always thought he is, and we let him off the hook.
