Excellent discussion of midterms, Trump, the future of the two parties, etc. on this week's @DMZshow w/ @billscher & @mattklewis . Watch on @bloggingheads -- https://bloggingheads.tv/videos/53337?in=00:01 … -- or listen on the DMZ podcast. If there's a better left-right podcast I'd like to know about it.
Well, I’m not an activist/partisan Republican, to begin with. So how would what I do functionally change? I mean, right now, I try to write about politics, influence the discussion, & tell the truth as I see it. What would change if I were to declare that I had become a Democrat?

No...what you as a non-politician are doing is good; we all should do what we can for our belief-system. I'm not asking you or anyone to divorce the party. It's the party leaders who aren't helping the sick parent, aren't protecting family. IMHO.

. But have a point to argue: I get your analogy of family vs party- "sticking it out". but IF and only IF you stay and get the sick parent the help they need. Nobody is doing that with trump.
