I was being sarcastic. I agree. They should have to suffer with the rest of us. They voted for him, they vowed to stick with him... No bailout. He's not saving their farms, he's merely buying their vote.

I’m not with smartest man in the world but, wouldn’t this be classified as a handout/welfare to farmers? The same exact farmers who would have a huge issue with this if it were going minorities. Shouldn’t they be pulling themselves up by the bootstraps?

This is HORRIBLE policy! First screw the farmers and consumers, then, to make up for it, screw the taxpayers (or the children and grandchildren thereof, whenever the debt piper ends up insisting on being paid). This is really, really stupid.
