He doesn't have the balls to start a war though. Plus I don't think he would get authorization from Congress to engage in long term action.

But haven’t wars been started by accident?

Honestly, the "genius of Trump" (I hate to use those words that way) is that he can create a crisis out of the blue, then "solve it" with a terrible deal and get credit for solving problems. He's done this now with North Korea and with the children detention centers.

I'm in Australia at the moment - last night during an interview with the Australian Minister of Foreign Affairs in response to Trump's tweet on Iran. "We don't pay to much attention to what the President says" .. end of quote. Not "what he says on twitter" just "what he says"

No, it’s an incredibly great sign. So we can stop wasting our time poring over 45’s empty, incoherent, impulsive, ego-driven rhetoric, shot from the tips of his fat thumbs, and just engage with each other in discourse about policy.

I saw the tweet when it came in and instead of reflexively going to my news feed to see what Iran did, I rolled my eyes and tried to make a funny on someone else's tweet, then went to bed.

Ask
@JonahNRO why the GOP & his base don't seem to care. Jonah spent the last few decades publishing the book version of "LIBERALS ARE FASCISTS". Conveniently, he seems to forget this when he bemoans today's tribalism cc@billscher@DMZshow@robertwrighter@MaryAngelaPernaThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

Because we know that in a few weeks he’ll want to have an Iran Summit. The man is a coward and craves the friendships of dictators

We are freaked out by his kidnapping of infants at the border and expecting them to represent themselves in court and his prostration to Putin in Helsinki. Threatening Iran is in the top 5 though.

@HeatherHastie And Paul Ryan laughed about threats to pull the security clearances of his political opponents, saying, "oh, he's just trolling." WTactualF!!! -
It's unbelievable that we've got to the stage (which many of us predicted but still hoped wouldn't happen) that a US president is largely being sidelined by the international community. In certain situations, he's being ignored like a naughty child.pic.twitter.com/Ah99RQTpDU

I wish I could go back to life where I didn’t pay attention to what the president was doing until there was something extremely serious going on. This idiot POTUS has turned the NF freaking L into a CRISIS. We have the power to fix this starting in November.
