If true, the irony would be its not very constitutional seeing that’s not how the process is meant to be. I don’t think it’s illegal or anything,just kinda too political for my taste. My bigger problem is the nominee’s views on a president testifying. good pick regardless

Unconventional, yes, if true. But why bad? The Prez can nominate anyone. Why should it trouble us if solicited the views of a sitting Justice who knows more than most about the job? To say “cajole,” when you know you cannot say “force” or “bribe,” is telling.
