No woman mindlessly wears a statement garment. This is especially true for a woman who is completely in tune with her image. Any other day this jacket would’ve rocked.

A grown woman should not wear this coat on any occasion. A jacket with this message only serves to highlight the wearers vacuousness.
-
I don’t disagree. Especially true when you’re the First Lady who is under the microscope of the world.

Matt, Matt, Matt. Always fair-minded, gracious in offering benefit-of doubt, eternal optimist. Dude ... the jacket says what it says ... who even has that in their closet and why? Careless or not, America is screwed with Trump's at the helm! Love, Cookie.

She probably has like 500 jackets to choose from....but she wore this one.

At what point is perpetual thoughtlessness intentional?

You are probably right, but the response to such thoughtlessness can't be the deflection being attempted by her spokesperson-it's got to be "Oh my god, that's horrible that I did that. I'm so sorry and I have no excuses. I do care."That's what normal humans do in such a situation.

Come ON. She is definitely trolling the world. And it's obnoxious.

For a First Lady to even have this in her wardrobe is *recklessness* regarding symbolism and optics, at a bare minimum. There is literally no occasion on which a FLOTUS can wear that jacket and not get bad press.

I wish I could agree with you, Matt but I ran out of "giving a benefit of a doubt" cards a long time ago. I don't think anything is a mistake anymore, but more by design.
-
With this WH and family, that is.

I'm not sure what's worse: Maliciousness or carelessness. And did NOBODY in the WH think to say, "Hey, maybe that's not the message we want to send today?"
-
Because it’s exactly the message they want to send?

Sorry but this is intentional. Wearing heels to a hurricane zone is thoughtless. This is obvious and no way not intentional.

http://This.Cannot.Be .True. I retweeted photo to photographer for details ... I mean c'mon ... no way.

Italian Cookie, agreed ... there's no way this is real. Her staff would have noticed right away.

It is true folks, check out
@KateBennett_DC Twitter feed. ---------@FLOTUS wore a@ZARA jacket, olive military style -- but it was printed on the back with the phrase "I don't really care. Do U?" An unfortunate sartorial decision ... -
Good God
