Well, I just got fired from @Townhall for being too controversial. The funny thing was, they couldn't even explain to me what I was saying that was controversial. I'm pretty sure they're just self-censoring because they're afraid some liberal might get upset.

A decade, I think? I was unceremoniously fired for asking what was controversial about pieces they were editing and pulling. Rather than give me an answer, they fired me. If Townhall is that scared of offending liberals, I think they're in the wrong business.
-
Interesting that this comes on the heels of the RedState purge and stories about Salem radio hosts, etc. Maybe you're not Trump-y enough?
-
I doubt that given the stuff they've been pulling. But, I've been either their top or one of their top 3 columnists for years now, so it has nothing to do with traffic either. I think they are just so terrified that some liberal might get offended that I had to go.

Townhall invited me to stop blogging there, as well. So you're in good company, I think.

I loved writing for Townhall and put up great numbers for them. It's too bad it ended like this. I'm sure some stuffed shirt up the line at Salem probably put some new mystery policy in place that I ran afoul of and that was it.

A bit like Kafka. Used to read Townhall all the time (I remember you) but haven’t in yrs. just not interesting
-
That's too bad, because I've written some awesome stuff over the last few years and you've missed it. Lol
-
Darn! Maybe u shd do a compilation of essays
