It seems pretty clear that if you’re a friend or political ally of this pres, good things may happen to you. And if you’re an enemy... Which makes me wonder: What happens when a Democrat becomes president? Of course, Trump didn’t invent this, but he is taking it to another level

What norms has he broken? With regard to Dinesh, the norm that was broken was the political prosecution of an adversary. The pardon is just making that heinousness right.

Aside from rhetorical doors, to which door(s) are your referring?
-
Would you think it kosher if the next Democrat president took to Twitter and demanded their DOJ investigate and jail the Trump administration?
-
Yes, we can only move forward through justice.

Ahhh yes, totally agree.

Think of a smarter Trump. That is a very scary thought. This nation would be much worse off if Trump made better, smarter hires, and if he wasn't such a narcissist and so self-absorbed. This country cannot afford a smarter (i.e. more malicious) version of Trump.

I’m a Dem and I openly admit that I want revenge.

You could play that game all the way down the line. But this is definitely different. Trump himself doesn't even argue it, he's taking a "Wrecking Ball" to the system. He embraces his disregard for convention.

Wow...just saw bio you are with CNN, figures

Why don't you check Wikipedia while you are key-board investigating and stereotyping a journalist ... a conservative journalist at that. Matt has nearly 59K followers and credentials that predate your hashtag. Finally, the original post was thought-provoking -- Not NEWS
-
Wow Really...lol!! Don't think so! Look closely at the few pardons Trump did and how many he didn't know personally but reviewed the records. You don't do junk reporting stating that they were all his friends, I stick by
#fakenews. Do it fairly, bottom line!! -
Lisa says: Look closely at the few pardons Trump did and how many he didn't know personally but reviewed the records. Readers: "Trump reviewed the records" ... that is a good one ... and pure fantasy.

Move on unless YOU really have something to contribute that's not false or fake.
-
Lisa should run for an elected position under the Trump Party. She'd be a shoe-in
-
You would be surprised to know I voted for Clinton one term and Obama one term...but thank you for confirming by the comment that you think we can't make a decision just because its a conservative one. This made my point completely!

Wow, name calling. I think Matt presents a thought-provoking notion about "standards" and follow-on presidential actions. Are you suggesting that Obama's pardons alone opened the doors to letting friends and political allies off-the-hook?
-
Better look again, I will post again if you didn't look at it. The monsters he pardoned was unbelievable. I think you just gave me a new mission to post each one...wait for it!!
-
Thanks Lisa, that would be great. Could you also post each UNTRUTH that Obama stated in his first 18 months in office as well as each tweet or interview where he discredited the DOJ and FBI and oh yea ... post his cabinet firings too. Thank you!!
-
LOL...you put Obama..enough said!! good grief
-
Miss Lisa ... I stand corrected and misread your post ... you did say the last 13 presidents ... I read the "last president". My apologies. Still looking for your list and thanks for the semi-courteous exchange.
-
Its attached two tweets ago with every Pardon.
-
Lisa is a master of circular argument -- you call me out for assuming you were posting about Obama when your tweet said the LAST 13 presidents .. I apologizeD and now you refer BACK to your LINK which is Obama's pardons. UNBELIEVABLE.
