One subplot of this saga is that the “Roseanne” reboot episodes I saw were surprisingly good. Can you imagine going from utter fame to irrelevance, and then getting a 2nd act, only to immediately piss it away?

Another subplot: it's so tough to get a hit TV series and so rare to get a job on one. All those people now out of work, some of whom turned down other jobs.

Thanks, Matt, I so appreciate the publicity for the series. As you know, I was deeply disappointed in the marketing of the original run and hope it has a long life in schools and elsewhere (from which I don't make any money, by the way).
