Wait wait wait.. you're telling me that USA, the richest most powerful country in the world but desperately need living wage jobs, can't open their own recycling plants to create jobs and recycle themselves? Is that what I'm hearing?

So this begs the question: Either we develop a reuse of these materials; or we change what materials we use for packaging. It isn't random where these facilities are located, either.

This is what I feel is the ultimate solution. All packaging has to be owned by the industry or business using it, taken back and recycled. The extra cost can be factored into the pricing of the goods. Should be mandated by law.
