    I feel like the pandemic means we have lost the battle against QR codes, fellow QR-code-dislikers. They're depressingly ubiquitous now.

    My university affiliations give me access to almost all published academic papers, which is essential to knowledge and learning. There is *zero* legitimate reason that this should not be extended to everyone. Access to knowledge should not be a privilege but a right.

    Around 2,500 people a day are playing A GREENER WORLDLE at the moment - from eniment climate scientists to the chief exec of the Gates Foundation to the general public. Not bad for something that went from idea to launch inside five days and cost under £400

    Really interesting about the growth of the brilliant Ramble. It's a huge achievement. I'm a long-time listener, love all the newbies, and completely agree the format had to evolve. But I've stopped listening more recently purely because the daily output is too much (for me).

    Great to catch up with from as they reach 15 (!) years of the show.
