The challlenge of consumer ML things - they’re supposed to ‘know’ what you meant, and present themselves as being able to do anything, but actually have quite narrow capabilities with no easy way to communicate what those are, or for the user to correct them.

Eventually, every UI becomes a visual metaphor for the command line, because humans hate ambiguity and (so far) only other humans are fault-tolerant for high-bandwidth free text communication. Cf Neal Stephenson’s essay.
