There’s strong urge to escalate to win, but like with a dollar auction it’s often better to accept a small loss once you recognize the pattern than it is to escalate.
The more people think that way, the more disagreeing is a path to world domination

The world does not seem to be dominated by people who can’t stop disagreeing over trivialities so I think we’re pretty far from that outcome
