In the early 60s, was the first girl *paperboy* in our little Vermont town. People never tired of commenting on it, and I never tired of all that I learned about people and life while delivering the "Valley News" newspaper. <3

Some heavy guy in a station wagon with a heavy Boston accent once asked me as I was walking down the street if I wanted to be a paper boy. My parents told me hell no because it was for the Herald-American.
