one of the odd things is that cause the sci hub website is simple, it is often easier to use then publishers websites*, even when the article isn't paywalled *which, IMO, really really suck I mean the Cell website is like "we are cell, we don't have to be good on the website"

This is just a proxy for how many people want to read a paper. Papers that get read more get cited more. I hope no one pirates this paper on sci-hub.
