The elephant in the room is most people don’t trust Zuckerberg based on his leadership at Facebook. It’s unfortunate because it could potentially be a good product. But if you don’t demonstrate ethics in business… Healthcare sees that and is leery.

often missing is a discussion of the pricing of the subsidized innovation.

So... We have federal agencies that do this stuff. Really, really well. If only they were properly funded. With taxes.

All good where more effort is needed. But, will be received as duplicitous damage control by many for what facebook has done to erode social/political trust and what they do to package their subscribers.

Why not give 7,000 rare disease patient groups their own proteomic data for their disease of interest, their community’s interest, the precision medicine targets, & their own IP, to drive disease solutions, as well as health. #SomaScan #Proteomics @SomaLogic #CitizenScience
