@mattheweboehm @AnimationMerc curious if you guys have any rules for animating fps fp camera... for example, do you avoid animating on pitch/yaw axes on reloads, that kind of thing? rules that prevent adversely affecting gameplay/player expectation?

For SP games, I'd imagine you can push harder because it's not a competitive disadvantage but always watch for motion sickness. For MP, I will bump hard but it's always brief punctuation then back to 0 and only when you clearly can't shoot like early in a reload.

It's tempting to to Bump for the "stock hits the shoulder" moment (deploy, end of reload) but the gun is loaded and looks like it's ready to fire so that messes w player perception and should be avoided.
