Have you ever liked a game - or at least its characters and world - but really didn't like to play it? Is that weird?

Last of Us. Loved the story and characters. The gameplay became extremely redundant after 10 hours.
Totally agree. There were some really great story moments where I wasn't ready to pick up the controller afterwards.
