Need to learn Python so I can make some custom Maya tools for myself.

feel like a basic knowledge of scripting is such a useful thing to have in tool belt. Like learning Expressions in AFX.
It would be great to have a little scripting knowledge. I got frustrated yesterday with this ancient GUI picker I was using.
